Dub Elements Unleashes Uproarious Ripper “Real Dogs”

As you fork over mountains of cash to keep those air conditioners blasting at full capacity, it’s clear summer is in full effect. With it comes one of the most anticipated events of the year for the drum & bass faithful, as Viper Recordings prepares to ship off its annual Drum & Bass Summer Slammers album. The crew cracks open 30 pile-driving numbers, pulling together a punishing cast for the compilation, including label bosses Matrix & Futurebound, Calyx & TeeBee, the Prototypes, Delta Heavy, InsideInfo—and the list goes on.

While a sizeable portion of the release has been reserved to big-up the most impactful tracks and remixes of 2016, Viper slips in 15 never-before-heard bits for those itching for some exclusive action. Dub Elements rolls up with an uproarious ripper, “Real Dogs,” bringing on some red-hot bars from Coppa. The UK MC’s bark is matched equally by the duo’s bite, a frenetic beat boasting brain-twisting synths that’ll push your adrenaline levels through the roof.

We linked up with Coppa and quickly put our hands on this tune. It was our first time working together, but I’m pretty sure it won’t be the last one! When it was ready, it got sent over to Brendan (Futurebound) at Viper, as it’s always good to have the feedback from the boss! Instantly, he told us this should be for Viper, so we did some final changes, and voilá!
