Ferry Tayle Reanimates Classic Kyau & Albert Record “Be There 4 U”
Not all music projects are made to last. Most tend to wither and dissipate over time, yet Kyau & Albert have managed to stick it through the ups and downs for going on two decades now. In that time, the two trance mammoths—along with the label they oversee, Euphonic Records—have become a cornerstone of a genre that has grown into a global phenomenon. Since occasions of this magnitude don’t come around too often, the German duo has decided to roll out multi-part EPs, aptly titled 20 Years, in which they invite producers from their inner circle to repurpose work from their iconic discography.
The series has already seen them enlist the remix services of scene stalwarts Genix, Sunny Lax, Dimension and others. A fresh group enters the fold on the third installment, among them being Ferry Tayle, who reanimates their spirit-lifting song “Be There 4 U” with every bit of the Frenchman’s melodic sensibilities emanating through. Between its vibrant phrases to the throbbing basslines, Ferry Tayle’s take is one you’ll be able to depend on many years down the road.
