Flume Marks His Return With “Never Be Like You”

Aussie prodigy Flume revealed earlier this month that his long-awaited second album Skin was “almost finished” and would be dropping in the new year, and he’s just unveiled what will be the album’s first single. Annie Mac got the jump with her BBC Radio 1 show with the premiere of “Never Be Like You,” a rather spine-tingling affair that also features the vocal talents of Kai.

Flume told British music mag NME last year that he’ll be blazing some new trails on his sophomore album and that it will be “sonically… a lot wider and larger. There’s a lot of really low moments, almost ambient stuff with no drums, and there’s also really high energy moments.”
