Gabriel Ananda Creates Arpeggiated Constellations Around Coyu’s “Cygnus”
In case you missed it, Suara Music issued its 200th release back in November, celebrating seven years of the feline-loving label operating at peak performance in the house and techno realms. For the major milestone, Coyu—the big cat himself—dug his claws deep into a collaboration with Sezer Uysal on “Cygnus,” which shook club floors to the core with its colossal melody lines. After a few solid months of making the rounds, the tune is now getting the remix treatment it so rightfully deserves.
On top of a delectable take from Digweed & Nick Muir sits this savory cut courtesy of Gabriel Ananda. The German groove architect keeps many of the elements we loved from the original intact, creating constellations around starry-eyed arpeggiations that scamper across swelling strings and plodding basslines. It’s an enthralling listen through and through, with the type of sonorous quality you can close your eyes and get lost in every damn time. This is Gabriel Ananda at his very best.
Available June 27 via Suara Music.
