Inkline Sticks Up the Place With Wompy Bass Weapon “Trouble”
The next order up comes at the hands of the trusty folks over at Saucy Records, who have been sliding prime cuts across the counter like there’s a nonstop dinner rush. In one week, they’re going to be slinging out the third installment of their Saucy Selections compilation, and we’re fighting through some serious hunger pangs waiting for it to reach our table. It’s stuffed to every corner with 22 contributions farmed from both the usual suspects and a few fresh faces.
Inkline makes his return on the imprint with “Trouble,” getting his hands dirty with help some help from Kir Rabu. The UK lyricist is responsible for the mischief happening on the mic, while Ink sticks up the place with his wompy, reach-for-the-sky rhythms. Between its pudgy synth patterns and shifty drum sequences, the tune is packing a whole lot of heat.
Available July 29 via Saucy Records.
