Notaker Digs Up Stunning Prog Vibes on “Gems”

Hailing from St. Louis, Missouri, Dave “Notaker” Nothaker is three for three on successful releases this year, all of which stem from his mastery of imaginative producing. The first was a three-track EP on Jaytech’s Positronic record label, which included smooth hits for the dancefloor that attracted the likes of Above & Beyond and APEK, to name a couple. He followed that up almost instantly with his first single on Monstercat, “Infinite,” a track that signifies a dynamic journey though spacial landscapes.

Nothaker’s follow-up release on the label, “Gems,” speeds things up a bit while retaining the heavy vibes that Nothaker has championed through all of his recent work. While the record releases today, the producer’s second love of visual work usually propels him to release a visual aid to go along with his music. Look out for that on his Facebook soon.
