Raw District Drops Soulful and Techy Groover “Shame”

Germany’s Moon Harbour label continues its reign as one of the finest sources of hypnotic deep house, a mantle it’s held for more than a decade. This week, it’s just about to drop the latest of its Orbiter EPs, a bite-size compilation that showcases the label’s associates, old and new. With four artists featured on the EP, we’ve got the track from Belgian duo Raw District as our TOTD.

Featuring a deep, dark groove that’s definitely a 3am kind of affair, the tech house vibes of “Shame” are soon countered by its soulful vocal that enters at the drop. Adding plenty of emotion, it’s used by Raw District to build their synth work around as the track builds toward its peak.
