Saad Ayub Teams With Christina Novelli on Vocal Anthem “The Only One”
We knew we were on to a good thing when we selected Canadian DJ/producer Saad Ayub as the winner of our Discovery Project competition many years back, and it appears that Ferry Corsten’s Flashover Recordings has seen the light, too. Ayub’s next single, “The Only One,” arrives later this month on Flashover, and it sees him teaming with vocal powerhouse Christina Novelli.
“I am excited to share the biggest collaboration of my career so far,” Ayub says. “This track has been a great collaborative effort between Christina and me. It tells a personal story that has a great emotional significance for both of us.”
Slotting in as a mid-powered trance number that will situate perfectly between the warmup and peak-time, “The Only One” sees Ayub working some techy elements into the mix before he properly unleashes Novelli’s vocals later in the track, shifting gear into more euphoric vibes.
