Sidney Charles Delivers Deep and Driving Number “Soultrade”

Germany’s Moon Harbour label has proved one of the finest sources of hypnotic, groovy, deep house for more than a decade, recently flying past the milestone of its 100th release—and it’s shown no sign of stopping. The stable’s upcoming Soultrade EP comes from Hamburg native Sidney Charles, and we’ve got the title track for you.

There’s a dash of classic house in “Soultrade,” with its layered percussion and diva vocal samples. However, it’s not long before its powered deep-house groove kicks things into high gear, as the high-octane and tech-infused record demonstrates that it was built for the peaks of a quality house music set. It’s one for the DJs to draw on when they wanna get those hands in the air.
