Years before Slander broke the seal on their studio and started pushing heaven trap to the masses, the Los Angeles-based duo started out by taking a DAW crash course led by Adam K. Things have now come full circle for the soft-touched 808 kingpins, as they just clocked some collab time with the seasoned prog producer.
“Breathe” is the outcome from their creative pow-wow, and it’s the perfect mesh of velvety melodies and snappy, arms-extended drum hits. Add in the duet between Matthew Steeper and Hailene, and it’s a done deal. Expect for Slander to get all sentimental when they slip this one into their sets.
