As RAM Records continues to celebrate its 25th year in existence, they continue to hammer it home with future classics on each and every outing. The Resurrection EP from Smooth is next up on deck, and as the young producer continues to chart his own course to the future, there’s no doubt he’s dropping some of his very best work to date on the legendary imprint.

From the cinematic “Device,” with its old-school-inspired atmosphere, to the straight-up jazz and bass cut known as “Disco,” all the way through to the shimmering climax of “My Feeling,” Smooth is firing on all cylinders and flexing hard for the RAM crew. Still, it’s the addictive dancefloor step of “Trajectory” that has us hypnotized to the point of putting this one on nonstop repeat.
