Sub Zero Locks Horns With Majistrate on Rewind-Worthy Joint “Weapon of Choice”

It’s always quite the spectacle to see the strengths of two artists coalescing in the form of a collaborative release. For those who know how to wield it properly, it can be a secret weapon that opens up a whole new dimension from everyone involved. Sub Zero has a death grip on that m.o., or at least that’s the point he makes on his latest run with the Playaz crew. The drum & bass menace goes pound for pound with four other heavies on the aptly titled four-tracker The Collab EP.

Majistrate is brought in on the case and doesn’t bother lollygagging around, with a dancefloor punisher that’ll hit heads right between the eyes. The grit and grains of their joint effort is most definitely its minimalist drop, a woofer-riding riff that surges through thrashing perc patterns. The title says it all.
