Taiki Nulight Forges a Heavyweight Rework of “Bounce Back”
Some of the best and brightest from Brazil and L.A. join forces for one Louisville Slugger of a dance track. Rrotik and Lliam Taylor’s “Bounce Back” has enough body-moving grit to fill a warehouse. And then UK bad man Taiki Nulight steps in to forge a heavyweight rework that takes it to the next level. It’s a four-on-the-floor slab of ghetto house that goes as deep as it does hard.
Held firmly together by a hefty vocal hook, the battering ram here is clearly the razor-sharp bassline. On his “Bounce Back” remix, Taiki keeps the soundscape minimal, instead letting all the ambience of the mean streets thump and echo through the space. Low and lean, this track was made to wring every last bit of sweat out of a crowd. Taiki Nulight is clearly on a mission with this trunk shaker, and that mission is to make you move.
