Teddy Killerz and June Miller Reach Critical Impact on “Outer Space”
The Russian three-piece known as Teddy Killerz have been an absolute blessing since they first appeared on the doorstep of the drum & bass circuit a few years back. It was game over once the almighty RAM Records took in the bloodthirsty trio as their own, which is where our furry friends will be squaring away a stacked package aptly titled Killer Squad. It’s a vicious all-tag-team affair, as they stuff their EP with the most collaborative chaos a single release can fit.
Across its six slots, the Teddies link up with some of the most feared faces in the business, including Audio, Icicle, Gridlock, Annix, Counterstrike and June Miller. It’s the latter you should be concerned about, because the two separate outfits have been perfecting the two-way play with recent joint cuts. They follow things up with “Outer Space,” an end-of-days number raining down some Armageddon-style fire. Fueled by an ever-thrusting rhythm, the collab reaches critical impact with cinematic chords and an apocalyptic narrative signaling the onslaught of mind-splintering basslines to finish it all off. The two crews have done it again.
