Tim Baresko’s “Dance Like This” Is a Raw House Banger

Since its inception in 2013, Amine Edge & DANCE’s CUFF has been churning out house bangers by respected local artists including Shiba San, Thee Cool Cats, and more. The Parisian label’s latest effort comes from Tim Baresko, a French artist who blurs the line between hip-hop and house.

On his latest EP, Necessity, “Dance Like This” delivers raw, streetwise house featuring Mike Palladino’s commanding vocals, powerful hi-hats and searing bass. There’s also a tougher remix from the label bosses themselves that references the sound of Dance Mania, a classic dance label revered for its cut-up vocals, coarse claps and bumping beats.

Available October 27 via CUFF.
