Tim Cullen & Made by Pete “Full English” (DJ PP Remix)

After ripping roofs off with their classic-leaning house cut back in December, Tim Cullen and Made by Pete have returned to revivify their wide-reaching number “Full English.” Not just content with reworking their own slinky collaboration, they’ve enlisted the help of a few house allies to appear on the remix package, including contributions from Harry Romero and Barber. Dipping the original groove in each of their own sonic seasonings ensures this groove will be served for seconds.

Pulling his weight on the opposite end is DJ PP, who runs up with a mild-tempered rework that creates suspense in great abundance. He trims the tune down, maintaining a mood that still manages to make you move but doesn’t rely on a panoply of elements to get the job done. It’s to-the-point and never misses its mark.
