TouchTalk Packs on the Deep Tech Persuasions With “Woodfinger”
Brazil’s Gabriel Castro and Estevao Melchior have been DJing since 2004 and 2009, respectively. In 2012, they got together as deep tech house duo TouchTalk. Since then, they have cranked out dozens of remixes, tracks and EPs that have earned them a devoted fanbase around the world.
Tracks like 2014’s “Got to Go” and 2015’s “Freakin’” on Incorrect Music (which has released Audio Junkies, Chus + Ceballos, and Ramon Tapia) have helped TouchTalk rack up more than 1,000 days on Beatport’s Top 100 Releases lists. In 2016 alone, they’ve released several EPs, including Beantown on Dear Deer and Lurssen on Go Deeva.
On their latest deep tech-house cut, “Woodfinger,” from their new three-cut Futura EP, TouchTalk pack rolling low-end bass, spattering drumroll buildups, and dark, spacey effects into a trance-leaning jam that should land them right back on Beatport’s charts. TouchTalk are coming on strong, with grassroots fans pushing the prolific, high-energy duo into the international spotlight with every release. The Futura EP is out today on Audiophile Deep, with the lead single “Woodfinger” streaming below.
Available October 24 via Audiophile Deep.
