Wehbba’s “Ascent” Is a Mind-Expanding Techno Roller
Wehbba is making his mark in modern techno. Over the past decade, the Brazilian powerbroker, born Rodolfo Wehba, has been releasing standout tracks on some of the global scene’s leading labels, including John Digweed’s Bedrock, Toolroom and Tronic.
Now, he’s back with a new three-track EP, Awkward Vacation, featuring “Flux” and “Ascent.” The latter is perfect for the underground rave, with trancey chords, rolling drums and claps, and a well-timed “mind expansion” vocal loop. Dive into it below—and be sure to catch him this weekend at Vienna’s Sass Music Club, as well as November 5 at Gorilla in Manchester, UK.
Available November 7 via Tronic.
