Wood Holly Targets the Glutes on Low-Slung Shaker “S.T.U.P.I.D”

It’s been a year since we last checked in with Wood Holly, and in that short window, the L.A. local’s reach has exploded. While he owes much of it to the close ties he has created with the Perfect Driver team, Holly scored big at the end of last year when he hooked up with Sage Armstrong on the Dirtybird-issued “Ass Out.” Now, he’s ready to build on to the buzz with his debut on Club Sweat, an offshoot of the wildly impressive imprint Sweat It Out!.

Very much in step with his previous posterior-pointed productions, his three-pronged EP targets the glutes like a high-intensity workout for dat ass. We’re beyond stoked to be presenting the first run of “S.T.U.P.I.D,” the titular jam off the package. A low-slung rhythm keeps things moving along, while a buoyant bassline tumbles up top with twangy textures and swirling synths hitting intermittently to add spice to the succinct vocal refrain. Heads will be backing it up the whole way through.
